River Island Adventures

We are an adventure outfitter on the Waccamaw River that features 1 acre of fun yard games, glamping tents, tree swings, hammocks, large fire pit, clean bathrooms & hot showers, boat dock & ramp, river side picnic tables, propane grills and access to a 48 acre private island in the middle of the river to explore and stay overnight in a treehouse!

Half Day Pass

A combo pass to enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding & a pontoon shuttle to the island. Duration: 3 hours (Mon – Sat)

River Tubing

Spend the afternoon tubing down the river with your friends. 45 min trips
Duration: 3 hour (2 – 5 pm, Mon – Sat)

Guided Kayak Tour

Follow your guide & explore the beauty of the Waccamaw River on a single or tandem kayak.
Duration: 2 hour (Tues,Thur, Fri, Sat)

Pontoon Boat Tour

Take a comfy & informative boat ride around a 48 acre private island to learn about the wildlife & history of the area.
Duration: 1 hour

Sunset S’mores

Take a pontoon ride or paddle a kayak down to a private island at night to indulge in a variety of tasty s’mores
Duration: 1.5 hour

Escape River Island

Teams of 2 people compete in 10 Survivor-style challenges on an island, part Survivor & part Amazing Race
Duration: up to 2 hours

Kayak Quest

Teams will use kayaks and an app on their phones in a race to locate control points & complete challenges on the river and on a 48 acre private island.
Duration: up to 3 hours

Adventure Luau

Enjoy a thrilling and entertaining evening of Polynesian fire handlers, hula dancers and authentic music.

Almost Naked & Afraid

A team of 2 people must survive on an island for 24 hours with no food, no water & no shelter to win reward.
Duration: up to 24 hours

Survive River Island

12 people, 2 tribes, 1 island

Treehouse on a Private Island

Experience the ultimate getaway in a 2 bedroom treehouse that sleeps 6.
